Davis (foot) is probable for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Nuggets on Saturday, according to Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com. • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Struggles with shot in loss

Davis totaled 18 points (4-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-11 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal in 41 minutes during Thursday's 108-103 loss to Denver in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Davis struggled from the field and failed to replicate his 40-point outburst from Game 1, but he still provided his usual production on the glass and on defense. Across 14 appearances this postseason, the veteran big man has averaged 22.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 3.2 blocks across 37.6 minutes per game. Despite his strong play in other categories, the Lakers will presumably need Davis to perform better on offense if they're going to get back into the series.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Nabs another probable tag

Davis (right foot stress injury) is probable for Thursday's Game 2 versus Denver, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. Davis has earned a probable designation in every playoff game thus far due to the right foot issue but has yet to miss a contest. After exploding for 40 points and 10 rebounds in Game 1, fantasy managers should be eager to go back to the well with Davis for Game 2.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Leads all scorers Tuesday

Davis ended with 40 points (14-23 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three steals in 42 minutes during Tuesday's 132-126 loss to Denver in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Davis led all scorers with 40 points in Tuesday's Game 1 loss to go along with five combined steals and blocks, turning in a dominant performance on both ends of the floor. Despite the loss, the Lakers will head into Game 2 full of confidence after overcoming a slow start and pushing the Nuggets late in the fourth quarter. The Lakers will presumably need Davis to be at his best on a nightly basis should they hope to upset the top-seeded Nuggets. Given what we have seen from him thus far in the playoffs, he certainly looks up to the challenge.
