Hinton posted 26 points (7-15 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and three steals across 41 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Motor City. Hinton was one of the Charge's best players in this game and reached the 20-point mark for the first time since Feb. 8, when he scored a season-high 28 points against Delaware. He also ended just one rebound shy of posting what would've been a second consecutive double-double.

Hinton went scoreless (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in Friday's loss to Ontario. He racked up two rebounds, three assists and two steals. Hinton has proven he can produce in the past, but his shot wasn't falling Friday, and he ended up going scoreless despite playing 24 minutes.

Hinton had 28 points (12-21 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, an assist, four steals and a block across 37 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Blue Coats. Hinton has been on a tear of late and has been one of Cleveland's best players in games where the likes of Sharife Cooper and Isaiah Mobley have not featured. Hinton is averaging 13.1 points on the season, but he's topped the 20-point mark in two of his last four outings.

Hinton recorded 12 points (5-17 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and a steal across 39 minutes in Monday's loss to the Blue Coats. All five starters scored in double digits for a depleted Cleveland team, but Hinton had a rough night from the field and ended up with more field-goal attempts than points scored. Hinton has been a reliable contributor for the Charge this season, though, putting up 12.0 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while starting in each of his 13 appearances so far.

  • Nate Hinton: Double-doubles in win Friday

Hinton racked up 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists, four steals and a block across 37 minutes in Friday's win over Wisconsin. Hinton can make an impact on both ends of the court, but this was his best game of the season by a wide margin since it was the first time he's registered a double-double. He's been decent as a scoring threat with 13 or more points in three of his last five outings.

Hinton scored 28 points (11-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists, four rebounds, three steals and a block across 35 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Mad Ants. Even though Sharife Cooper has stolen most of the headlines when it comes to the Charge, Hinton has been excellent and remains a productive threat on both ends of the court. Hinton was extremely efficient from the field and surpassed the 20-point plateau for the third time in his last five games, but this was also the third time in which he registered two or more treys in that span. He's making 40 percent of his threes while averaging 5.4 attempts per game.

  • Nate Hinton: Goes for 30 points Sunday

Hinson notched 30 points (11-21 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, seven steals and four assists across 38 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Mad Ants. With Mamadi Diakite and Isaiah Mobley with the Cavaliers and Sharife Cooper enduring a rough shooting night, Hinton had to step his game up on both ends of the court and fully delivered here. Despite the fact that the Charge lost to the Mad Ants by an expressive 29-point margin, Hinton posted season-high marks in points and steals while also tying his season-high output in assists. He's now scored at least 15 points in four of his last five outings.

  • Nate Hinton: Puts up 20 points in win

Hinton finished with 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists and three steals across 34 minutes in Sunday's 121-106 win over the Gold. Hinton averaged 8.7 points per game across 14 appearances for Fort Wayne during the 2021-22 season, and he was putting up similar numbers this season until breaking out Sunday. Given that Hinton played 30-plus minutes and didn't reach the 10-point mark in any of his previous three contests, all signs point to this game being an outlier for Hinton rather than the expected norm going forward.

  • Nate Hinton: Waived by Cavs

Hinton was waived by Cleveland on Saturday, Kelsey Russo of The Athletic reports. Hinton did not figure to have a great chance at making the Cavs' final roster, so this news is not surprising. He appeared in 21 NBA games as a rookie in Dallas in the 2020-21 season before spending the majority of last season in the G League. He is now set to look for a new opportunity.

  • Cavaliers' Nate Hinton: Inks Exhibit 10 deal

The Cavaliers signed Hinton to an Exhibit 10 deal Monday, Sam Amico of FortyEightMinutes.com reports. Hinton appeared in 21 NBA games with Dallas as a rookie during the 2020-21 season and played in two contests with the Pacers last year, but he never garnered a substantial role. However, he did light it up while playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the G League during the 2021-22 campaign. The third-year forward averaged 18.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 38.0 percent from three as a sophomore. Hinton will likely be a longshot to make the Cavaliers' initial roster, but he could land a two-way deal with a strong training camp.

Hinton, who went undrafted out of Houston in 2020, appeared in 21 games for the Mavericks in 2020-21 and two for the Pacers earlier this season when the team required COVID-19-related reinforcements. Hinton could fill a small role off the bench for the Pacers' final two games of the season.
